MONOCRYL ist ein steriles Nahtmaterial für die Adaptation von Weichgeweben und/oder Ligaturen und zur Verwendung in der plastischen Chirurgie (z. B. Hautverschluss). Poliglecapron 25, resorbierbar, monofil, synthetisch, sehr hohe Ausgangsreißfestigkeit, besonders glatte Oberfläche, sicherer Knotensitz, nicht kapillar, minimale Gewebereaktion. Reißkraftprofil: 50 % 7 Tage, 0 % 21 Tage. Resorptionszeit: ca. 90-120 Tage. Nadeltyp: 3/8 Kreis schneidend 19 mm.
